Minister Of Malawi Hon. Ulemu Msungana Visit to the AU Sport Council Headquarters in Yaounde, Cameroon

The Honorable Minister of Youth and Sports of Malawi, Hon. Ulemu Msungana who is also Chairperson of the AU Sport Council Region 5 Conference of Ministers made a visit to the AU Sports Council Headquarters in Yaoundé, Cameroun. As region 5 is the most vibrant AU Sports Development Region, it was a great honor to receive him. The Hon. Minister is in Cameroun for the African Cup of Nations to give support to the Malawi national football team who are playing their matches at Omnisports Stadium in Bafoussam. He was received by Coordinator of the AU Sport Council Dr Decius H. Chipande and they discussed several issues pertaining the development of Sports in Africa, the Policy for Sustainable Development of Sports in Africa, operationalization of other AU Sports Development Regions and the 13th Edition of the African Games that will be held in Accra, Ghana in 2023.
