Confederation of African Amputee Football elections

African Amputee Federations representatives from different countries that make up the Confederation of Africa Amputee Football Electoral Committee and observers from African Union Sports Council(AUSC) convened in Luanda, Angola to prepare for the elections of the leadership of the Confederation of Amputee Football Africa. Other participants attended the convention online and commended the on_going developments on Amputee Football in Africa.The event was officially opened by the Honorable Minister of Sports of Angola, Madam Ana Paula da Silva do Sacramento Neto. In her Opening Remarks, the Honorable Minister emphasized the need to give value to Amputee Football and that the soon to be elected President will play a big role in starting and developing the works of the Confederation of Africa Amputee Football (CAAF) and promoting important partnerships that will rise the existence and the works of the Confederation. Dr Decious Chipande, Coordinator of the African Union Sports Council who participated virtually assured the Confederation support and collaboration from the African Union Sports Council, particularly that Sports for Persons with Disabilities is a priority area in line with the African Union Agenda 2063 aspiration of "A prosperous Africa based on inclusive growth and sustainable development.
